You should get Killing Floor since it's more recent..

I would say Killing Floor just because it is cheaper.

I'd say Killing Floor just because of the system requirements. It's way less that L4D's.

It's pretty innovative.
It captures elements from different games such as: Left 4 Dead, Call of Duty, Max Payne, and one more, but I seem to have forgotten since it's pretty late.

If it is way less then L4D, I'm getting this for sure. I believe that my fail PC will actually be able to handle KF.

I think I went a little far by saying the requirements are way less, but they are lower than L4D's. I'll post Killing Floor's and L4D's minimum requirements.
Killing Floor
L4D
Minimum:

o Processor: 1.2 GHZ or Equivalent
o Memory: 512 MB RAM

My big things are processor, graphics card and hard drive space.
Edit: I lag like hell when I put my settings all the way to highest. I meet all the recommended requirements. The only way I can play without lag is putting everything to lowest.

I've seen clips and broadcasts of gameplay of Killing Floor, and I'd have to say, I like it better than L4D.

After playing them both, I can honestly say that I like L4D better, but Killing Floor is the better game. Soon, the internet will be filled with 100s of Killing Floor maps, while L4D will have only a few made. There are more weapons in Killing Floor. There are perks in Killing Floor...
But if you don't want to pay the insanely high price for L4D, get a steam code from a third-party for about the same price as Killing Floor costs in Steam

I'd go with Killing Floor its just more fun than L4D imo
