    How did you purchase it?

If through paypal you may be able to dispute the payment and receive the money back, if through your credit card you can have your bank/credit agency dismiss the payment for a small fee (better than not having any of that money at all).

Don't give up on that stuff, fight it man and you'll get what you want!

I agree with Murrizzle if you have paid for it with paypal or a credit card then you should be able to get a portion of the money back if not all of it.

    Dude, that sucks!
I agree with the said posts above me.
You can't just easily give up on something like that.
You need to fight back and get your hard earned money back!

I paid through Paypal, which means technically I'm covered up to £500, which I've been told not to bother emailling but rather phone because they don't really bother with email help..

True; phones are the best way to solve everything since e-mails are usually neglected.

You gotta be careful, you can't just order from these random companies you don't know about. Even if they have a deal, you should research on those websites yourself. There are other websites dedicated to observing and rating other websites, sorta like reviews, use those to help make your decision on if that particular website is a scam or not.

But I hope that everything works out for you. I'm sorry that had to happen.

Well it turned out the guy worked for a gameshop, and was buying through their suppliers on the shop account.. He'd order a few extra games, consoles etc.. then sell them privately and he got found out which is why he'd magically vanished..
But because everything was bought and paid for through the shop they said they'll send everything that was ordered, and was told it'd arrive on Thursday last week, so haven't been able to get a refund to go locally and it's not arrived... again..

Not quite, it was ordered, but never shipped..

People would order from the eBay store this guy ran, and he would ordered it with his store discount where he worked..

I paid, he ordered/paid, he got found out, my order is stuck at the store he worked at, the store said they'd send it out as it had been paid for but still not turned up Sad

Is there no way to sue him or something?
I mean... There has to be ways of attaining justice.
You can't just get ripped off like that.
You should try looking up the terms of service within his company to see if there's anything that can be done.
Or you should try calling the company itself.

    Yes and No...

    49% yes, 51% no..

The guy was scamming his work, not me but he got found out... But luckily his work (GAME) was nice enough to send me the order as it was actually paid for in my name Smile

Yup already clocked up a few hours in KillZone2 and Resistence2 Very Happy

I got disconnected and an Error code popped up which worried me but turned out it was just telling me it had been unplugged from the Network, turns out my router has an annoying habbit of going in to 'idle' mode after 45minutes of non use (Doesn't register consoles as usage for some reason) so disconnects me Rolling Eyes
